IDSA’s New York City Design community, spearheaded by IDSA NYC and Women in Design NYC, invites you to a week of exploration and connection through a curated series of events for NYCxDESIGN 2025. From May 15-21, join us for thought-provoking talks, exhibitions, and engaging meetups exploring the evolving role of design leadership, the fusion of design and psychology, the journey of product development through failure, and more. These events are designed to facilitate connection with industry leaders, unveil emerging design trends, while celebrating creativity and design in New York City.

The NYCxDESIGN member-led events will be a prelude to IDSA’s Open Design Day, a free day of community-curated activities held on the first day of the 2025 IDSA International Design Conference & Education Symposium. Check out the NYCxDESIGN schedule-at-glance for yourself and see the amazing programming that’s planned. We look forward to seeing you there!
