Women in Design New York City

Banner_NewYorkCity

The IDSA Women in Design New York City (WID NYC) Chapter exists to foster positive gender equity within our profession and create welcoming environments for women, women-identifying or non-binary individuals, and allies to network, connect, and learn from one another in New York City and surrounding areas.

WID-NYC generally works independently from the IDSA NYC Professional Chapter, though collaboration between the leaders ensures that designers have access to quality networking and professional development opportunities.

Established in August 2023 by the leaders shown below, WID NYC strives to create a strong community that strengthens itself through relationship building, mentorship, support channels, access to resources, workshops, advocacy, accountability, and leadership.
