Sean Guo is a multidisciplinary designer and entrepreneur based in Los Angeles. With a background in both industrial design and engineering, his work spans product design, footwear, and branding at the intersection of design, technology, and culture. He has collaborated with designers and brands including Skechers, Salehe Bembury, Kelly Wearstler, and Karim Rashid, contributing to projects across product development, creative direction, and brand storytelling.
Sean is the Co-Founder of Mackerel Design, a practice focused on product development, marketing, and brand narratives. It supports international brands entering the U.S. market while helping local brands connect with alternative resources and partners overseas.
Beyond his studio work, Sean actively builds communities that connect designers and artists. Through events, mentorship, and creative gatherings, he works to foster dialogue and collaboration across disciplines within the broader design ecosystem.
