Alex Liebert is Atlas Copco’s director of the Industrial Design Competence Center, an in-house design department that leads the human experience design within the Atlas Copco Group. Liebert leads all of Atlas Copco’s industrial and interaction design groups across the company and is responsible for the global design strategy. He is Vice Chairman of the Board at the Support Association for the Swedish Industrial Design Foundation and teaches design strategy to the 1st year Masters of Advanced Product Design at Umeå Institute of Design. Liebert earned an MFA in Product Design from the State Academy of Art and Design, Stuttgart and an MA in Industrial Design from Konstfack, Stockholm.
