is Creative & Managing Director of Studio Conran, the product, packaging and graphics agency founded by Sir Terence Conran in London.
During his 17-year career Eccles has worked with IDEO, winning a 1996 IDEA for his work for Steelcase, and with Ross Lovegrove, leading projects with Alessi, Driade, Kartell, Herman Miller, and Tag Heuer. In 1998 Eccles founded Bai’onik, a London-based design studio servicing clients including Honda, Nike and Ford.
In 2003 Eccles relocated to the US to direct FITCH’s Global Product Development team, winning 9 awards in three years including a 2005 IDEA Gold. In 2006 lead Arnell Group’s Innovation Lab in New York, working with Fortune 500 clients including Home Depot, Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson.
Alongside directing Studio Conran, Eccles is also a D&AD Global Awards judge and visiting lecturer at Parsons The New School in New York.
