Carlos Restrepo

Director of Member Services & Engagement Carlos Restrepo is the Director of Member Services & Engagement at IDSA, where he is dedicated to delivering meaningful value to members and exceptional service. With over 30 years of experience in the association space, Carlos has built a career centered on membership management, member information services, and engagement strategy. He began his career working within leading organizations such as the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), the National Minority AIDS Council (NMAC), and the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO), where he focused on strengthening membership operations and data-driven member services. He later transitioned to the vendor space, supporting more than 300 associations over the past 19 years, helping them enhance engagement, improve retention, and align services with evolving member needs. Carlos holds a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management from Eastern University and is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) through ASAE, reflecting his commitment to excellence in the association profession. He brings a unique dual perspective, both as an association professional and as a long-time partner to the industry, driving strategies that turn member value into lasting connections and growth.
