George Aye co-founded Greater Good Studio to increase the impact of his user-centered design practice. He is also a full-time, tenure track professor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Aye began his career at IDEO Chicago, leading projects in consumer electronics, health care and consumer packaged goods. After seven years at IDEO, he became the lead designer at the Chicago Transit Authority, where he explored the intersection of design and public policy by envisioning the design of a new bus system for Chicago. He remains wildly optimistic that we can solve the most entrenched social problems of our time, together for the greater good. Aye received his bachelor’s in engineering design visualization from Bournemouth University, UK.
