Directs Design Strategy and Experience Planning in Microsoft’s Interactive Entertainment Business, with a focus on building next generation experience strategies for products such as Xbox, Zune and mobile devices, and activating the organization around them. Prior to Microsoft, Anton was a senior consultant in New Solutions Development at Philips Design in the Netherlands. Responsible for strategic and creative direction, he led the creation of several award winning experience prototypes that tangibly demonstrated novel product interactions in a digitally connected world, and was involved in collaborations with external institutions and partners from Domus Academy to Nokia.
Whether facilitating hundreds of in-house engineers to rally around a common vision, or working with executives to define it, Anton has maintained a focus on using collaborative design techniques to infect the organizations he is in and bring holistic, human-centered experience thinking to the corporate strategy table.
Anton has a mixed design/science background, with a PhD in Biophysics from King’s College London and a degree in Product Design from Central Saint Martin’s School of Art and Design.
