IDSA International Design Conference & Education Symposium

The International Design Conference & Education Symposium is IDSA’s biggest event of the year. It is a platform for amplifying industrial design’s unique and bold voice while celebrating the deep interconnection with other creative disciplines. Our theme this year is Design Disrupted: Shaping the Future of Design.

Open Design Day offers the design community a diverse lineup of activities, focusing on community-driven content, networking, creativity, and connection, while ensuring accessibility for everyone’s budget. This presents a wonderful opportunity for IDSA communities to contribute their expertise and enrich the event’s offerings.

By submitting the information to host a session at the Open Design Day, you agree to the following:

• Understand and acknowledge that IDSA unfortunately doesn’t offer honorariums, travel, or expense reimbursement.

• Hosting programming for Open Design Day does not grant complimentary registration to the IDC & Education Symposium. Open Design Day is free of charge.

• Submission does not guarantee acceptance. Selections will be notified by early July.

• If you wish to attend the Opening Party on Wednesday, September 11, and the subsequent IDC & Education Symposium (Thursday & Friday), you must register.
