IDSA Design Foundation Giving Tuesday

Support Design Education this Giving Season

IDSA Design Foundation Giving Tuesday

Expand learning opportunities, foster inclusivity, and empower a new generation of designers.

At the heart of IDSA lies a commitment to education, and the IDSA Design Foundation was born in 2001 to propel the industrial design profession forward. As we step into this giving season, we invite you to be a part of our mission.
By donating to IDSA Design Foundation’s general fund, you directly fuel our vision to enhance the accessibility and inclusivity of design education.
Your tax-deductible contribution plays a pivotal role in sustaining IDSA Design Foundation’s philanthropic endeavors. It fuels the expansion of scholarships and drives the initiation of transformative new programs. Every donation, regardless of its size, contributes to a more vibrant, inclusive future in design.

Your donations could provide...

Undergraduate Scholarships

As IDSA Design Foundation’s longest-running program, these scholarships help students at the earliest stages of their design careers and provide much-needed financial support in the pursuit of an industrial design degree.

Graduate (Gianninoto) Scholarships

This scholarship was established with a $25,000 contribution by the late Francesco Gianninoto, FIDSA, a US package designer who was a founder of the Package Design Council, and president of Gianninoto Associates from 1932 to 1983.

Event Access

Event Access offers design students who are underrepresented in industrial design—primarily BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color), female-identified, non-binary, LGBTQ+, neurodiverse and students with physical or cognitive disabilities—free admission to events produced by IDSA.

“It was amazing to be able to attend IDSA's Entrepreneurship Deep Dive and hear from so many dynamic industry participants shaping the world we live in. I can't thank the IDSA Design Foundation enough for enabling my attendance! I learned so much and am excited to apply what I've learned to future endeavors."
