The IDSA Seattle (SEA) Chapter serves the networking and professional development needs of industrial designers in Seattle, Washington and surrounding areas. Some of the activities and events that Seattle Chapter has produced include lectures, studio tours, and collaborations with other professional design organizations. IDSA’s International Design Conference and Education Symposium, which brought together designers from around the world for design dialogue and discourse, were held here in 1984, 2015, and 2022.

IDSA Seattle also supports design students in the area, including the University of Washington and Western Washington University. We encourage a strong partnership between the student chapters and the professional chapter that includes portfolio reviews, career development, and social events.

The chapter officers below were elected to position by members of the Seattle Chapter and hold a two-year term.
