The IDSA Houston (HTX) Chapter serves the networking and professional development needs of industrial designers in Houston, Texas and surrounding areas. We support the professional development and networking opportunities of a broad range of design specialties and employers, with an emphasis on the local medical and healthcare, energy, and space industries. Some of the activities and events that Houston Chapter has produced include lectures, studio tours, and collaborations with other professional design organizations.

IDSA Houston also supports design students in the area, including the University of Houston. We encourage a strong partnership between the student chapters and the professional chapter that includes portfolio reviews, career development, and social events.

The chapter officers below were elected to position by members of the Houston Chapter and hold a two-year term.
