The IDSA Charlotte (CLT) Chapter serves the networking and professional development needs of industrial designers in Charlotte, North Carolina and surrounding areas. Some of the activities and events that the Charlotte Chapter has produced include Networking events, community building, private tours, and collaborations with other professional design organizations.

IDSA Charlotte also supports design students in the area, including the App State University, Jamies Madison University, Virginia Tech, SCAD, Auburn and Georgia Tech. We encourage a strong partnership between the student chapters and the professional chapter that includes portfolio reviews, career development, 1 on 1 mentorship (with officers) and social events.

The chapter officers below were elected to position by members of the Charlotte Chapter and hold a two-year term.
