The IDSA Boston (BOS) Chapter serves the networking and professional development needs of industrial designers in Boston, Massachusetts and surrounding areas. Some of the activities and events that the Boston Chapter has produced include lectures, studio tours, and collaborations with other professional design organizations. In 1974, 1991, 2001, and 2012 Boston was the site of IDSA’s International Design Conference and Education Symposium which brought together designers from around the world for design dialogue and discourse. Boston has also been the location of several IDSA Medical Design Deep Dive events.

IDSA Boston also supports design students in the area, including the University of Texas at Austin. We encourage a strong partnership between the student chapters and the professional chapter that includes portfolio reviews, career development, and social events.

The chapter officers below were elected to position by members of the Boston Chapter and hold a two-year term.
