Women in Design is a gathering built to recognize the unique talents, initiatives, and challenges of women in the industrial design industry.
IDSA is proud to continue our mission of creating safe and welcoming spaces for critical conversations. Women in Design is just that kind of event and aims to disrupt decades-old patterns of inequality by establishing a new, more inclusive, and equitable design industry.
Designers and creatives of all genders are invited to explore the challenges faced by women in design today, and generate meaningful solutions for inclusivity and gender parity in the workplace. Join us to celebrate inspiring leaders who are forging their own paths and energizing future generations to follow in their footsteps. As creative professionals and change-makers in industry, it is our responsibility to question the status quo and contribute to building new norms for our profession.
Cori Rowley, IDSA has 10 years of design experience spanning retail and fixture design, product design (from concept to prototyping to manufacturing details), analysis of lifestyles and trends, consumer research and soft goods design.
Distanced but connected
Join us online for two days (4 hours each day) of dialogue and fellowship with some of the leading female and female-identified designers who are making an impact. The event provides the opportunity to interact with other design professionals facing similar challenges and to build your network with many supportive voices who can help you elevate your craft.
Exceptional lectures and insightful workshops
Hear from designers who represent all stages of a career and who work across a broad spectrum of practice areas, including industrial design, UX, service design, and more. We have arranged for industry leaders to share their stories and experiences with the WID audience in an effort to provide insight into different areas of design and methodologies of practice.
Choose your own rate
We are pleased to offer a deeply discounted, "choose your own rate" pricing structure that includes options of $25, $50, $75, or $100 per ticket. Each option provides full and equal access to the event, so you can choose your price based on what you feel comfortable spending.
Thank you to our sponsors & event partners
