Statement of Candidacy (Board of Directors - Education Director | 2022-2023 term)

Dear IDSA Community,

Over the past two years I have had the honor to be your Education Director and simply put, there is still a lot to do.

In 2020 I started with a lot of ambition to support students and faculty and connect academia and practice. Some of it came to fruition; meanwhile, many ideas are still on the drawing board.

Student Chapters still need more support, there is a lot of room to grow in creating value for faculty, and there is so much untapped potential in our design community to exchange knowledge across the aisles.

If you vote for me, I will continue to do my best to be your academic voice on the Board.

Cheers,
Verena
