L. William Zahner, CEO/President of A. Zahner Co., earned his Civil Engineering Degree from the University of Kansas, was awarded an Honorary AIA degree from American Institute of Architects and received the Copper Metal Award from Associazione Italiana Di Metallurgia.
Zahner has received numerous honors and awards and is a world-renowned lecturer on design and use of architectural metal employing digital definition and aerospace engineering. He is also an accomplished sculptor and has authored two books and numerous articles. Zahner serves on the University of Kansas School of Engineering Advisory Board, the Nerman Museum of Art Board and was Chairman of the Kansas City Art Institute.
