As a senior designer in Continuum’s Product Design Group, Damien Vizcarra leads teams of designers and engineers through programs focusing on design language and new product development. His passions lie in visually translating consumer insights into objects and experiences that embody a harmonious balance of user aspirations, functional needs and aesthetic appeal. He originally joined Continuum’s Boston office in January 2003 where he worked as an industrial designer on multi-disciplinary teams. In 2005 he worked for Continuum’s Seoul office designing for clients in the consumer electronics sector in Asia. In 2007 he returned to his native Pasadena, CA, where he represented Continuum with local clients and educational institutions. He continues to enjoy the growth and experience of working with other self-starters in the Los Angeles studio and continues to contribute to successful product introductions for clients such as Targus, OXO, In-Sink-Erator and American Express. Vizcarra received a bachelor’s in product design with honors from Art Center College of Design.
