Sung Jang

Sung Jang earned a fine arts degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a master’s degree in design from Domus Academy in Italy. He began his design career at Samsung Design Milano then joined the faculty of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago’s Designed Objects program.
Since 2013, Sung has served at the University of Illinois at Chicago’s School of Design as an assistant professor and director of undergraduate studies in ID. He also serves as a partner in Article, LLC. Sung has worked with international brands such as Louis Vuitton, Artemide and Roche Bobois and been represented internationally at Venice Biennale, Design Miami, Victoria and Albert Museum, Chamber NYC and Art Institute of Chicago—among others.
