Shani Armon joined IDSA in September 2017 as senior manager of sponsorship and sales. She has more than ten years of experience in exhibition management, sponsorship acquisition, marketing and conference planning.
Previously, Armon worked as a senior meeting planner and sponsorship specialist with the Investment Company Institute (ICI), where she managed high-level international events, domestic board meetings, large conferences and exhibitions. Armon was responsible for the implementation and design of ICI’s first sponsorship program, which, under her management, grew to include the continued support of top financial firms in the world.
Armon earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia with a concentration in psychology. She and her husband are the proud parents of three funny, kind, but supremely risk adverse kids under the age of six. Her guilty pleasures include the Container Store, Twizzlers and Yo Yo Ma!
