Seter Wu, IDSA
Libao (Seter) Wu, was raised in China during the time industry was growing at a fast pace in his country. During his time as an undergraduate in pursuit of his bachelor’s in industrial design at Harbin Institute of Technology, he quickly understood the important relationship between industrial design and engineering and built a solid base for his designs. He then pursued his master’s in industrial design at Savannah College of Art and Design. There, he was able to apply his affluent design skills in a new light. He learned the importance of problem solving and how to apply it to the strategy behind good design.
Like a hybrid, Seter is able to bridge the gap and apply both his engineering problem-solving skills and his design strategy to encompass strong, meaningful design. Nature has been his inspiration, allowing him to use the natural elements to accent or propel his designs.
