Reed Sowder is an industrial designer who has approached design with the desire to connect; connect with individuals, our world, and our universe. Design is an interconnecting web made up of experiences, decisions, and creations. This desire to connect is rooted in understanding needs of others and has quickly become her design philosophy. As we begin to create our identities as designers, each connection we make effects the next, and our network diverges and expands. Reed wants to continue her career in design empathizing with others, creating experiences, and adding value to the 'things' we use in our lives.
