Chicago Student Liaison
My background in design is broad and covers a wide spectrum of the design process, from concept development to design for manufacture. I first cut my teeth in the professional world as an intern at Design Integrity where I learned the importance of working in a team towards a goal. After graduation I worked as a freelancer, primarily doing medical device design for a manufacturer in downtown Chicago.
At UIC I taught foundation level drawing for designers which was eye opening and challenging to show students the core values of design. I am currently a designer at Wilton Brands, working on a variety of different product types across several different brands in the housewares and crafting industries. My personal passion is motorcycles, for which I am an avid rider and tinkerer.
