“Wake Me Up Old Fashioned”
- 2oz Your Favorite Bourbon or Rye Whiskey
- .5oz Coffee Syrup**
- 3 Dashes of Angostura Bitters
- Add all ingredients to large mixing glass
- Add enough ice to fill mixing glass
- Stir for 15-20 seconds and strain over your largest cube of ice
- Garnish with a Orange Peel
**Coffee Syrup:
- 1 Cup Brewed Coffee (fresh or hours old)
- 1 Cup Demerara or White Sugar
- Combine brewed coffee and sugar in small saucepan
- Heat over medium-low heat stirring often
- Let syrup cool and keep in airtight container, refrigerated up to 30 days

“Closed-Loop Gimlet”
- 2oz Your Favorite Gin
- .75oz Fresh Lime Juice
- .75oz Lime Cordial**
- Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker
- Add two large handfuls of ice
- Shake vigorously for 10 seconds
- Strain into a coupe and garnish with lime wheel
**Lime Cordial
- 2-3 Lime Peels
- White sugar
- Completely remove peel from limes (save peeled lime for juice)
- Place peels into narrow container and cover with sugar until completely coated
- Store in a dry place for 24 hours, (the sugar will turn into a liquid syrup)
- Remove peels from container
- Take syrup and combine with equal parts water in a small sauce pan over medium-low heat
- Strain syrup and let cool, store in airtight container for up to 30 days
