Assistant Professor Magnus Feil received his MFA in Industrial Design from The Ohio State University and a Diplom (FH) from the Hochschule für Gestaltung, Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany. Magnus Feil is a tenure-track industrial design faculty member of the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at the Arizona State University where he teaches undergraduate and graduate level industrial design courses. In 2017 Magnus was recognized as Honors Faculty by Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University. His research interests are focused on the critical examination, design, and development of product systems to facilitate more meaningful interactions between people and technology with an emphasis on design as storytelling, re-envisioning of design foundation education, design for social good, and design for tangible interactions.
