John Mabry is a thinker, maker and doer. A senior designer at TEAGUE, he has spent the past decade working in the consumer goods and tech space with clients like Intel, Microsoft, HP, Starbucks and Xbox. Before joining TEAGUE, he worked at Thompson and KEK, designing everything from televisions to toys for clients such as Kodak, RCA, Xerox and Fisher-Price. Because he is a believer in learning through doing, when he’s not in the studio, he’s making model kits, fixed-gear bikes, Lego creations, even music—anything that allows him to experiment with his hands. A graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology, Mabry has been practicing design for 15 years. His work has earned multiple utility and design patents, both awarded and pending.
