As a Senior Human Factors Industrial Designer at Ximedica, Thomas Lutzow leads healthcare-focused design and user experience programs for Fortune 500 companies and start-ups. He is integrated among human factors, engineering and user experience groups, and focuses on early concept development, disruptive innovation and defining ideal user experiences for novel medical devices, healthcare products and hospital systems. Lutzow is the past Chair of IDSA’s RI Chapter, and is currently Mentor Lead for OPEN STYLE LAB, an adaptive design program hosted at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He graduated with a BFA in Industrial Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2006.
