Lance Hussey, IDSA | RKS
As design maven and vice president of creative at RKS, Hussey oversees the design of virtually every project that comes in the door and ensures that the design intent is always framed in reference to the strategy. With a knack for always delighting and surprising his clients with innovative design solutions, and broad expertise across medical, consumer electronics, housewares and appliance industries, he has been instrumental in the rise of RKS as a global industrial design powerhouse for nearly 20 years.
In addition to his primary role, he mentors other members of the team using the knowledge gained through his many years in the design field. He holds numerous patents and has been named on numerous design awards including over 12 IDEA Awards, 24 Good Design Awards, 19 Spark Awards, nine CES Innovations Awards and many others.
Hussey received his bachelor’s in industrial design from California State Northridge.
