Katya Jones, IDSA is a freelance designer and project manager at C3. She works on developing toy products.
In May, she graduated from the University of Kansas with a bachelor’s in industrial design, focusing on product design with a certificate in entrepreneurship. She has held many leadership positions in different organizations while in school, including serving as President of the IDSA KU Chapter.
This year, as Chair of the IDSA Kansas City professional chapter, Jones will focus on connecting professionals around the Kansas City area with industrial design students at the University of Kansas, Kansas State University, and Kansas City Art Institute. She also wants to hold events that bring designers from the area together and provide an environment for these designers to network, brainstorm, and learn from each other.
