Joe MacCarthy, IDSA | Leapfrog
Joe MacCarthy is currently the design manager for Preschool Toys at Leapfrog. I also do a lot of concept art for the gaming and movie industry. He is known for his toys and concept art primarily but also his work in packaging, billiards, military vehicles and armor. You can find his work on Coroflot and his personal site joemaccarthy.com. He joined IDSA to connect with other designers and to mentor students. His strongest design capabilities are future forward concepting and sketching like a mother. He has worked at Fisher-Price, Vtech, Leapfrog, Brunswick Design Studio, and Tivoli Too. He has been a member for about 12 years. In 1994, MacCarthy graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Over the years, he has won many toy awards, design awards and design patents. He is launching my first concept art book and t-shirt line.
