James Lee, IDSA | Method
James is a mix of traditional business knowledge and progressive design thinking. With a business degree from UC Berkeley and a gig at KPMG, a “Big 4” accounting and consulting firm, James understands the “outsider” approach to solving business problems. After leading engagements in over 15 countries, James switched gears to pursue the creative field by studying art and industrial design. This path led him to the Design Strategy MBA program at CCA, where he is studying innovative business models, leadership and design strategy that, together, create meaningful user-centric experiences.
James is currently in the strategy team at Method, a digital user experience design firm in downtown San Francisco. Previously, James was a part of the strategy group at AKQA, a digital advertising agency, where he looked at consumer behaviors and industry trends to create product and communication strategy for Fortune 500 clients.
