Mr. Harpham leads Battelle’s Human Centric Design team – a multi-disciplinary team whose focus is leveraging human centric processes to put the user at the center of Battelle’s development activities. His eclectic team consists of design researchers, industrial designers, user interface designers, behavioral scientists, cognitive psychologists and bio-medical engineers. They engage with Battelle’s consumer, industrial and medical markets across the entire spectrum of development. For Battelle’s healthcare clients, the HCD team is responsible for assuring that users are an integral part of development, from early contextual research and concept development, to running formative and summative usability studies to meet FDA expectations.
