Mark Guarraia joined Ximedica in 2005, with a background in general consumer products and electronics. In his current role, he is responsible for translating user needs and insights into actionable design solutions across the medical and healthcare landscapes, and leading Ximedica’s team of human factors industrial designers. In addition to his role at Ximedica, Guarraia is an adjunct professor at both the Rhode Island School of Design and Massachusetts College of Art and Design, promoting user-centered design practice and research-driven process.
