Industrial Designer
Social Media Coordinator, IDSA Miami Chapter | 2020-2021
Eric Lord is an industrial designer from South Florida. He received his bachelor of science degree from Virginia Tech’s College of Architecture and Urban Studies in 2019. His primary interests lie in consumer products and footwear.
In 2018, Lord and a group of fellow students was invited to compete in the Stanford Center on Longevity’s 2017-2018 Design Challenge in California, and his team came in first place. He also worked with a team at Clemson University, designing a nurse’s station concept for a futuristic operating room.
In addition to design, Lord enjoys traveling, cooking, comedy, and music production. As a social media coordinator, he will be using his design and communication skills to communicate with other IDSA members and to grow the IDSA Miami brand online.
