David Shaywitz, MD, PhD, is chief medical officer at DNAnexus and holds an adjunct appointment at Harvard Medical School. He has a decade of experience in the life science industry, with experience in R&D, strategy and commercial operations through his work at Merck, the Boston Consulting Group and Theravance.
Dr. Shaywitz received his PhD in biology from MIT and his undergraduate degree and MD from Harvard University. He trained in internal medicine and endocrinology at Massachusetts General Hospital.
