David Klein, IDSA | Metro State College of Denver
David Klein teaches Industrial Design at the Metro State College of Denver. He received his MFA in Industrial Design from the University of Illinois in 1995, and his BA degree from Southern Illinois University in 1988. He designed toys and fitness equipment for Roadmaster Corporation and consumer electronics for Samsung Corporation while living in Seoul.
He completed a Fulbright-Hayes Seminar in the Czech and Slovak Republics, a Japan Studies Institute fellowship at San Diego State University and was a visiting scholar at the Beijing Academy of Science and Technology. His interests include international culture and design, art and photography, unpopular pop music, racquet sports and bicycling.
He has also served on the Industrial Designers Society of America Board as the Western District VP.
