Thiago Costa is the co-founder and CEO of Lagoa, a web-based platform for 3D visualization and rendering. Costa founded Lagoa with the vision of making professional quality 3D tools accessible to everyone via the browser. Originally from southern Brazil, he started his career as a programmer and mechanical visualization artist and entered the digital content creation industry working for broadcast television. In 2007, Costa moved to the US to work in the advertising (Nike, GM, Fox, Discovery Channel, Microsoft) and film industries before moving to Montreal to join Ubisoft as Lead Technical Director. With a broad set of skills, he realized the need for an integrated physics solver and built Lagoa MultiPhysics in 2010. The teaser video gained millions of views in days and was subsequently licensed to Autodesk.
