Coleen Sabatini, MD, MPH, is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon at UCSF and the director and chief of orthopedic surgery at the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland (BCHO). Dr. Sabatini’s clinical focus includes a wide range of pediatric orthopedic care including pediatric trauma/fractures, clubfoot, hip disorders, limb deformities and length discrepancies, foot disorders and scoliosis.
Her research focuses on pediatric trauma prevention and treatment, global health/global surgery, access to care and the elimination of disparities in care. Dr. Sabatini is particularly interested in topics where public health and orthopedics intersect. She is active in international orthopedic work, especially with orthopedic education and research in Uganda.
