Mark Ciesko is an industry veteran with 20 years of experience in the design field. He joined GE Healthcare in 2012 as manager of the Americas Studio for global design and user experience overseeing the design of hardware and software interfaces across GE’s extensive portfolio of health-care products. Before GE, Ciesko was with the Gillette Co. as section head for industrial design, part of Procter & Gamble’s beauty and grooming business He led the industrial design group for blades and razors and focused on delivering consumer-winning design for the Gillette and Venus brands. He was originally hired by P&G in 2003 to focus on front-end innovation programs for Pampers, P&G’s largest brand. Before joining P&G, he spent his early career working for Fitch Worldwide where he led the industrial design group for Fitch’s San Francisco office. He’s earned several Gold, Silver and Bronze IDEAs, and he has been a guest lecturer and instructor at a number of colleges and universities. Ciesko earned his bachelor’s in industrial design from the University of Cincinnati.
