Sandra Aris joined Crocs in 2012 as the Senior Director of Global Design after years of design and consulting experience throughout the fashion and lifestyle industry. Born in New York, Sandra grew up in Paris, where she received a Master’s in product design from a French design university. Aris began her career in the consulting world, working for worldwide firms Fitch and Ideo, as well as boutique firms Ldesign and Ecco. After spending time in London, New York and San Francisco, she started her own design consulting firm in Los Angeles. Over a seven-year period, Aris’ portfolio of clients included Merrell, Patagonia, Smith Optics, Oakley and Baby Jogger. She then joined Sorel to oversee product and design for the Columbia group. After joining Crocs in 2012, she has settled into her new Colorado lifestyle and has brought an exciting and fresh new perspective as the brand’s global design director.
