Over the past several years, Andrew Hartman has helped Philips Design and now Design Partners to develop new design capabilities that increase effectiveness and value to clients. In this way, Hartman can help companies to anticipate emerging contexts and develop new business models to address them. Design is now often used to help define a company’s digital landscape and future strategy towards Big Data in and around its businesses. In this way, Design has become a powerful lever for effecting organizational change in a company due to its ability to articulate a vision, create access points for specialists and to define actionable steps in the short term towards a long term goal. This clarity helps a brand define its vision and communicate its value proposition to better resonate with its customers.
