Director - Global Visual Merchandising Design, Estee Lauder
Aldana Ferrer Garcia is the Global Visual Merchandising Director for the Estee Lauder Brand, with a focus on Skincare and Luxury. She is currently the team lead for Sustainability, project manager for the regions of EMEA & LATAM, and lead designer of the luxury franchise Re-Nutriv. Working at the global headquarters since 2018, she has designed and managed flagship stores for EL worldwide, as well as exclusive luxury events and activations.
Ms. Ferrer Garcia’s career begins with a BArch in Argentina, working as an architectural designer and academic, followed by an Industrial Design Master of Arts at Pratt Institute. She lived in Tokyo studying technology and design thinking at Keio University, in London studying design and engineering at Royal College of Art & Imperial College; and in Cmielow, Poland for an Artistic Residency. She designed and developed multiple consumer goods collections in collaboration with local artisans in Guatemala and Mexico, for both non-profit and for-profit initiatives. Ms. Ferrer Garcia’s work has been exhibited in global Design Weeks in Dubai, London and New York; and in 2017 she was honored in the European Parliament with a Platinum Award for her patented invention More Sky.
