One of the many benefits of being an IDSA member is having access to and being a part of the IDSA Member Directory. The member value of being listed and the member service of being able to easily connect with other industrial designers is integral to IDSA's core pillar of community. It's also a powerful reason to join IDSA. Only IDSA members are listed and only members have access to the Directory.
As first announced to our academic community on March 26 (via our Educator Update email), we are pleased to provide a virtual platform for graduating 2020 senior industrial design students to increase visibility of their work and assist in their transition to the professional design community. The IDSA Industrial Design Senior Show will be completely free and open to any graduating industrial design senior.

The Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) mourns the loss of Mark Dziersk, FIDSA, a prominent industrial designer and decades-long supporter, leader, and advocate of our Society. IDSA has a rich history of submitting Amicus Curiae briefs in court cases to protect the interests of the organization, its membership and more generally the field of industrial design. IDSA has often filed amicus brief in intellectual property cases, including cases involving the laws of patents (both utility and design), trademarks, trade dress and copyright.
2019 was a year of significant change for IDSA. We navigated an increasingly complex and competitive landscape in the battle for your time and attention. We implemented adjustments to some of our core programming (specifically awards and conferences) in order to operate in a more agile and adaptive way. And we set ourselves down the path of re-envisioning the IDSA membership experience for a new era.
