RKS Design Founder and CEO Ravi Sawhney, FIDSA, has accepted an invitation to join TechNet, the Voice of the Innovation Economy—a non-partisan, advocacy group of CEOs and senior executives from 70 US-based tech companies such as Amazon, Apple, AT&T, Cisco, eBay, HP, Intuit, Google, Microsoft, Oracle, PayPal and Visa. “TechNet stands for the future of our economic leadership,” says Sawhney. “Industrial designers, like myself, are often at the epicenter of innovation, technology and experience. It’s an unprecedented honor to be part of this organization that connects the US government with developing a future that is as bright as its past.”

Sawhney is part of the start-up community; promotes psycho-aesthetics design thinking methodology as a tool to further empower the TechNet team of highly motivated and seasoned professionals; and created his most recent technology startup, LoanGifting, to tackle student debt.

Sawhney attended TechNet Day 2016 with more than two dozen top executives and CEOs and White House and congressional leaders. They discussed making the United States more globally competitive; encouraging economic growth; creating jobs; and preparing students for the modern workforce.

“TechNet stands for the future of our economic leadership," says Sawhney. "Industrial designers like myself are often at the epicenter of innovation, technology and experience.... Providing design's voice and relevance to the subjects of the economy, immigration, energy, education, student debt and other top topics is something I've had my sights on for decades."
