"The art of design is something that is handy in all facets of life. It shapes the world in intricate planning, as well as provides functionality and style to a product, building, car, website, etc. Without properly designed chairs or vehicles, life would not suffice to function the way it does today."—The Cougar's Byte, Kean University
The president of IDSA's Student Chapter at Kean University in Union, NJ is featured in an article on the next generation of industrial designers. Paul Fromholtz is a senior majoring in industrial design. The article reports that since he joined IDSA, Fromholtz has been able to rapidly improve his business and networking skills, saying, “I have had the grace of being able to see the quality of work which my fellow Kean graduates, as well as graduates around the world, can produce. It has really opened my eyes to the post-collegiate world of industrial design.”
Professor Tim Riegle is the advisor of the IDSA Student Chapter at Kean University's Robert Busch School of Design.
Meet Fromholtz and Riegle at the IDSA Northeast District Design Conference in Boston on April 24-25. Join the journey on Twitter @IDSA #IDSANortheast15
