IDSA Shines at Bloomberg Businessweek Design 2015

IDSA has a strong presence at Bloomberg Businessweek Design 2015.

Taking the stage are IDSA members Tim Brown, CEO and president of IDEO, which is an IDSA Patron, and Bob Brunner, founding partner of Ammunition. Also representing the Society: IDSA Board Chair and President and CEO of Modern Edge, Charles Austen Angell; IDSA Board Chair-Elect and President and CEO of Teague, John Barratt; IDSA Executive Director Daniel Martinage, CAE; IDSA Western District Vice President Jason Belaire; and IDSA 2015 International Conference Chair Surya Vanka.

"It's a great experience connecting with a diverse group at Bloomberg Businessweek Design 2015, honoring the beauty and value of design," says Martinage.

The event is bringing together the world’s top designers and business leaders to discover “how design makes the world better, smarter, cooler and more innovative,” according to planners. Bloomberg BusinessWeek Design 2015 kicked off April 27 at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco with studio tours and an opening reception, followed on April 28 by speakers including Brown and Brunner, and wrapping up with an evening party.

Martinage next attends IDSA's Midwest District Design Conference May 1-2 in St. Louis. IDSA's 2015 International Conference is scheduled on August 19-22 in Seattle.
