Board of Directors Elections – Nominations Now Open for Class of 2015-2017
Nominations are now open for IDSA’s Board elections (class of 2015-2017). The Board of Directors is responsibze for directing the affairs of the Society, and specifically, each member is expected to help raise funds, increase membership, support the development of programs and services, including the Design Foundation and build awareness of the value of IDSA to the membership, design community and the public.
The following positions are up for election this cycle:
Midwest District VP
Southern District VP
Western District VP

A member of the IDSA staff or Nominations Committee will reply to discuss your interest further. To be considered for Board nomination, you must be a professional member in good standing.
The Director At-Large represents the general interests of the Society and the membership at large. They consult, investigate and research such matters affecting the profession and provide such information and reports to the Board of Directors as requested or as deemed advisable. Chapter Vice President
The Chapter Vice President promotes, monitors and nurtures chapters and represents chapters interest on the Board of Directors. This role is also responsible for cultivating opportunities for relationships between chapters, sections and education. (Click here to see the full position overview)
District Vice President (DVP)
The District Vice President chairs their district’s annual Design Conference as well as promotes monitors and nurtures the effectiveness of the chapters within their respective district. (Click here to see the full position overview)
