OPTIONAL–Shipping your product for round 2 judging:
1. SHIP your product (see restrictions below) to arrive NO LATER than May 17, 2019.

2. RETURN REQUEST: If you would like your product to be RETURNED TO YOU after jurying, YOU MUST include a pre-paid shipping label via DHL, FedEx or UPS. If you DO NOT include a shipping label with your product, you forfeit the rights to have your product returned to you. Any unreturned products may be given to the Design Foundation for possible auction or disposal. Products winning a Gold, Silver or Bronze IDEA will not be returned and will become part of The Henry Ford permanent collection.
3. MARK all parts of your product discretely on the back, bottom or non-prominent surface with the following information (7 pt. font or larger):
Entry number and Category
WRITE either Return – YES or Return – NO
DO NOT include designer names or the name of your design firm. This will result in a disqualification.
4. MARK the category and entry number on the outside of the shipping box.
Products must be smaller than 50 lbs/23 kg and less than 30” x 30” x 30” or 76 cm x 76 cm x 76 cm in size). Products larger than these dimensions will not be accepted.
Please do not send full-size appliances, range hoods or bathroom fixtures. Due to space considerations, these will not be unpacked or displayed.
Any product not labeled upon arrival at The Henry Ford will be labeled by our staff. We cannot guarantee that these labels will be easily removed.
No prototypes or student models will be accepted. We can't be responsible for any damages incurred, so please do not send them.
Neither The Henry Ford nor the IDSA staff will assemble your product.
If you want your product back, you MUST include the prepaid return label. No exceptions.
Please do not send multiple copies of the same design UNLESS they are finalists in multiple categories.
Any non-winning, unclaimed products will be disposed of July 1, 2019.
