Make It a Priority to Attend

Central DDC Kicks Off with a Band of Industrial Designers!

Mar 9 2015 - 8:16am

What a way to get things started! The 2015 Central District Design Conference launches April 17 with a welcome, networking and opening remarks—then gets right into the swing of things.

Paul Kolada, IDSA, founder and chief executive officer of Priority Designs, offers a 30-minute talk on “How the ____ Did We Get Here?!” He reveals how his firm grew from a one-person initiative to a 60-person, multi-talented, team housed in an amazing new, 50,000 sq. ft. facility.

We thought he’d be a hard act to follow—but no worries, he’s bringing along the Priority Designs house band!

Locker 15, a rock cover band playing current hits to classics, is made up of industrial designers. They design by day and rock at night. And after the performance, if you have enough energy left, take a tour of the Priority Designs studio. It will be an off-site event with an out-of-this world flair.

Shuttles will be provided by Priority Designs back and forth the less than ten-mile distance from its studio to the conference location at the Columbus College of Art and Design,
