More than 200 Events Planned
Cooper Hewitt Smthsonian Design Museum is launching National Design Week from Oct. 10 to 18, 2015 with more than 200 events across the country, culminating with the 2015 National Design Awards Gala on Oct. 15.
A compelete schedule is available here, including events in New York City such as the Target Family Design Festival; Design Tales; Drop-in on Design; NYC Teen Design Fair; 2015 National Design Awards Winners' Panel; and Design Kids.
The Game Changers series, which began this spring with Tim Brown, IDSA, CEO and president of IDEO (IDSA Ambassador) continues during National Design Week with conversations with other key designers, thinkers and industry leaders across design disciplines.

"Participants are immersed in design's rapidly changing landscape and the field's latest innovations, while also gaining critical design-thinking skills," says Caroline Baumann, director of Cooper Hewitt, which kicked off the first National Design Week in 2006.
